Substitute Teachers at our Rosewood School are responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis and implementation of appropriate treatment program designed to habilitate or rehabilitate in the areas of pre-academics/academics, social emotional development, behavior as well as fine and gross motor skills in school age children. Substitute Teachers will be expected to do these responsibilities to the best of their capabilities under the directions of the supervisor and classroom staff on an “as needed” basis.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field OR minimum of a bachelor’s degree AND experience working in early childhood field

•  New York State Certification as a permanent Special Education Teacher (prior to February 2004) or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-2)
