As a Program Supervisor, you will provide oversight to two (2) group home that provides services to adolescents with developmental disabilities and mental illness in Sicklerville and Edgewater Park, NJ.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all residential staff and schedule

• Arrange and participate in family orientation within 24 hours

• Coordinate all referrals and intake information

• Provide case management including: coordination of appointments, coordinate appropriate resources and service providers and maintain resident records

• Insure weekly agency psychiatric and psychological consultants are completed

• Maintain required documentation for both regulation and agency, including clinical records

• Participate in treatment team and provide input as needed

• Participate in staff meetings, providing training when needed

• Be available to consumers and staff on a 24 hour basis during emergencies

• Crisis intervention as needed

• Provide a caring and supportive environment

• Assist and train in activities of daily living and group activities

• Provide input into assessments, case conferences, and treatment planning

• Recognize client behavioral signs indicating potential emergency and take immediate action by reporting to appropriate staff

• Provide one-on-one supervision and record client response

• Process payroll

• Maintain schedule for staff at least 2 weeks in advance

• Provide shift coverage as scheduled and rotating on-call responsibilities; schedule management

• Interview and hire new staff for program

• Develop and coordinate weekly activity schedule

• Responsible to run counseling groups with approved curriculum

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in mental health related field

• One year experience working with developmental disabilities and supervisory experience

• Master's Degree preferred
