Description Robotics Instructor will be responsible for increasing student learning through designing and implementing effective learning strategies as it relates to industrial robotics. The selected candidate will be responsible for classroom delivery and facilitate industrial robotics training. Strong understandings of robot operations and concepts are required for this position.

Requirements .Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate student learning and deliver instruction
• Prepare and deliver lectures, lab exercises and moderate classroom discussions
• Evaluates student progress and documents assessment.
• Assists student in his/or her activities to insure student achievement of program training goals.
• Effectively manage classroom, maintain discipline standards and assist in the improvement of curriculum delivery.
• Demonstrate respect for students as individuals and foster a respectful learning atmosphere in the classroom
• Assume daily responsibility of housekeeping and maintenance of equipment, computers and classroom
• Integrate computer applications into teaching.
• Instruct and ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations according to Federal, State and municipal laws, as well as, Focus: HOPE Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned
Skills and Abilities:
• Must be experienced with FANUC robotics concepts and training materials.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various individuals at all levels throughout Focus HOPE environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong commitment to civil and human rights.
• Empathy and desire to help people become self-sufficient.

Special Licenses/Certifications Required Education, Training and Experience:
• Required: Journeyman’s certification, or 3+ years documented experience in the field as robotics technician, programmer,
• FANUC Robotics Certification in Educational Robot Trainer. Appropriate FANUC certificates which show evidence of competency in automation and robotics equipment.
• Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Engineering, or a relevant field, and/or certification as a vocational instructor or equivalent.
• Knowledge of FANUC Robo-Guide simulation software.
