General Statement of Duties:
Directs the financial affairs of the organization by effectively managing financial operations and banking relationships. Responsible for supporting and coordinating accounting and finance functions for all departments of the organization as well as directs the operations of information technology and human resources. Maintains a working relationship with the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors and provides support to the Committee.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directs staffing, supervision, training, and performance of personnel performing accounting and finance related functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll to ensure smooth service operations.
• Establishes policies and procedures for the effective analysis and reporting of all financial matters, for functional control over the accounting activities, and to ensure accuracy and proficiency.
• Creates and manages a budget to support the growth and performance goals of the organization.
• Advises the Chief Executive Officer on the financial ramifications of business decisions and assists in the presentation of data to correctly reflect the state of the organization.
• Communicates with donors, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations. Oversees and develops relationships to establish the best financing and contributing terms for the organization.
• Oversees cash management and secures adequate operating funds and invests funds to the best advantage of the company.
• Serves as a strategic partner with top management to effectively implement the organization’s objective goals.
• Serves as the official treasurer of the organization and in that capacity reports to the Board of Directors.

Requirements Education, Training and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA or advanced finance or accounting degree preferred.
• Seven (7) years’ progressive managerial financial experience in a related environment or other business association.
