General Statement of Duties:

We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employee’s records and supporting the interview process. Your role, also, involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. He/ She will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools.

Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Assists with new-employee background checks.
• Conducts audits of benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
• Assists with processing of terminations.
• Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
• Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
• Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
• Performs other clerical functions.
• Files documents into appropriate employee files/ and within the HRIS.
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
• Prepares new-employee files.
• Assist with new hire orientation.
• Processes mail.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education, Training & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to work remotely when needed.
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Supervision Required:
Performs duties under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources.

Requirements Education, Training & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work remotely when needed.
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
