MANAGER OF PARTNERSHIP FUNDRAISING & EVENTS General Statement of Duties:
The Manager of Partnership Fundraising and Events reports to the Chief Development Officer and is responsible for coordinating and managing all fundraising events, and for securing and managing partnership-based and third-party fundraising initiatives and sponsorships.
Maior Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of small and large scale fundraising events for the Development Department, including the Heroes for Hope gala.
Serve as the Development Department's primary liaison for the March for Hope, developing and presenting event sponsorship packages and coordinating fulfillment, managing participant registration and peer to peer fundraising challenges.
Coordinate fundraising event staff with Focus: HOPE's Volunteer Department.
Develop and implement partner-focused fundraising strategies that will attract relevant corporate strategic partners driving mission awareness and produce revenue.
Develop and implement plans for third-party cause fundraising events, including corporate challenges, raffles and working with employee giving boards/committees.
Serve as a liaison to connect third-party partners with volunteer opportunities at Focus Hope via the Volunteer Department.
Manage and maintain accurate and complete financial records for each third-party event. Conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine the success of each applicable event and partnership, compile and submit reports to the Chief Development Officer.
Work with Marketing Staff to development digital and print marketing materials for third-party events and programs as well as serve as the point of contact for social media outreach and strategy of partnership based fundraising, including Giving Tuesday.
Secure organization-wide corporate sponsorships and manage annual renewals and/or upgrades.
Develop and manage the Focus: HOPE young professionals group and associated events. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong, sincere commitment to civil and human rights.
Ability to work independently.
Abilitv to confidently present and pitch proposals to prospective sponsors.
Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have valid driver's license.
Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours.

Supervision Required:
Performs duties under supervision of the Chief Development Officer.

Requirements Bachelor's degree required
2-3 years' experience in events, marketing, and/or fundraising activities
Experience with Raiser's Edge, RE N)(T or other CRM preferred.
