The company is headquartered in the heart of Times Square, New York. The ideeli team is comprised of seasoned fashion leaders from retail and internet companies.

The Merchandising Production Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support to her/his Events Team with a dotted line responsibility to the Buying Team. S/he leverages organizational and analytical skills, as well an eye for relevant trends, to support the effort of the team in all its critical tasks, including: brand partner communication, PO maintenance from the hand-off by the Buyer through finalization, calendar management and performance reporting. The Merchandising Production Coordinator reports to a Merchandising Event Operations Manager. This is a great position for a motivated candidate interested in a rapid career path in merchandising, project management or operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

•Provides production support to the Event and Buying Teams
•Manages daily events/sales in coordination with an Associate Buyer/Buyer
•Develops relationships with cross functional team members (Marketing, Photography, Studio, Logistics, etc) regarding current and upcoming sale information/calendar
•Acts as a coordinator externally by obtaining product details and specs from vendors
•Tracks samples and skus as well as take responsibility for PO updates
•Manages inventory tracking from receipt in the studio through return to warehouse/vendor
•Performs Quality Control and follows up with support teams as necessary
Requirements
Qualifications:

•Entry-level position
•Recent grads with relevant internship experience or 1-2 years experience at a retailer
•Knowledge of merchandising financials, retail math a plus
•Bachelors degree a must
•Ability to analyze reports and draw conclusions/recommendations
•Strong interest in fashion
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Strong organizational skills are a must
•Self-starter, ambitious in nature
