Emerge is seeking one full-time Data, Reporting and Evaluation Specialist whose primary objective is to support the Data, Reporting and Evaluation Department by providing data entry, generating reports, facilitating database trainings and assisting with program evaluation to Emerge’s multiple programs. This person may be responsible for developing relationships with partner organizations that Emerge provides data support to. This position reports to the Data, Reporting and Evaluation Manager. This position requires someone that can work across agency locations, has experience in query based reporting, Microsoft Excel functionality, data visualization and/or evaluation planning.


  • Provide data entry support for multiple Emerge programs.
  • Perform reporting duties via multiple internal and external databases.
  • Review discrepancies in data received, request clarification or advice Data, Reporting and Evaluation Manager of issues related to data.
  • Enter and maintain confidential participant information.
  • Assist in the creation of new training materials when new programs are created in the agency database.
  • Facilitate monthly database training for Emerge staff on all functions of ClientTrack.
  • Assist the Data, Reporting and Evaluation Manager in creating and disseminating reports to assist in review of program data and/or for the purpose of grant applications and reports.
  • Navigate and troubleshoot issues with the database, data entry or reports.
  • Assist with the creation of effective program evaluation systems using the tools and resources provided within ClientTrack for internal program review and/or grant requirements.
  • Perform quality control audits within Emerge’s multiple programs and/or partnerships.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities that will be assigned from time to time




Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant/related work experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior data entry work experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge and experience within non-profit database systems (ClientTrack, Workforce1, Salesforce, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel functionality.
  • Excellent organizational Skills and ability to be detailed oriented.
  • Ability to troubleshoot database issues or problems.
  • Ability to travel to various locations within the Twin Cities metro area.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
