| Description |
Essential Purpose of Position: Responsible for inspecting merchandise, assessing damage and making necessary repairs, or recommending other disposition of damaged merchandise.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspecting merchandise completely for defects and damage
2. Clean, repair, touch-up and prepare furniture for delivery to customers using all necessary tools
3. Make accurate disposition on damaged merchandise
4. Make decisions on what is and is not acceptable to deliver
5. Keeping work area clean and orderly.
6. Attendance in compliance with our Absence/Tardy policy is an essential responsibility of this position.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs additional duties as required or requested.

Qualifications:
1. Must be able to use power tools properly (e.g., drills, hammers, utility knife, sockets, pliers, and wrenches).
2. Must have the ability to keep up a rapid pace without sacrificing quality.
3. Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk lift and carry (see Physical Requirements Grid).
4. Must be able to exercise caution and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
5. Must have hand/eye coordination and must be accurate.
6. Previous furniture experience is preferred.
