Responsible for assembling product in an efficient and safe manner. Further responsibilities include, warehouse maintenance duties and prep of merchandise.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Assembling cocktail tables, end tables, chairs (chairs that do not require a saw or press to be assembled) to be shipped out for delivery.
  2. Preparing work area for assembling merchandise by reorganizing workbench and clearing area.
  3. Placing merchandise in correct cages for delivery proposes.
  4. Prepping and inspecting merchandise for delivery.
  5. Maintaining high quality standards for products assembled.
  6. Assisting in the performance of warehouse maintenance duties.
  7. Attendance in compliance with our Absence/Tardy policy is an essential responsibility of this position.
Requirements
  • Must be familiar with D.C. procedures.
  • Must be able to use power tools properly (e.g., drills, hammers, utility knife, sockets, pliers, and wrenches).
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently drive a tugger, pallet jack or lift.
  • Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk lift and carry (i.e., merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. about 40% of the time and over 60 lbs. about 30% of the time).
  • Must be able to exercise caution and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Must have hand/eye coordination and must be accurate.
