Summary of Role:
Royal Neighbors of America is searching for a Life Insurance and Annuity Sales Support Manager. This role manages the activities of the Sales Support staff in their efforts to support the growth of the organization and conserve in force business through independent agent channel. Supports in the development and execution of plans and processes to reach short and long-range strategic goals in premium, membership and overall quality of business. Provides administrative and specialized support to the National Sales Executive and Regional Sales staff by implementing Society policies, procedures, and strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assist in developing and implementing programs to assure Sales Support staff can provide product, process and sales support to independent agents in a timely and accurate manner.
•Assists in the development and training of appropriate sales methods including outbound call campaigns and agent onboarding.
•Assists in the preparation of call metrics, implementation of call metrics and review metric results vs. metric objectives, plans, and prepares the budget for the sales support departments.
•Conduct webinars for Agent Training on the Society’s Product Launches, Agent Product Training and support the RSM’s as needed with IMO and Agent webinars and training.
•Assist Executive as needed to meet Society directives. Support Sales staff through relationship management and process activities.
•Produce, analyze, and research growth, agent, production, and call center reports including IMO and agent production reports for annual sales conference qualifications; provide recommendations that will result in field loyalty and increased production.
•Manage agent and IMO segmentation programs in order to measure, increase, and report production level of top IMO’s/Agents.
•Provide specialized support to sales activities and maintains relationships of top agents and agencies through face to face meetings and by phone with knowledge of Society products, procedures and competitive position.
•Manage, plan, and coordinate annual sales and other conferences; recommend locations; partner with conference vendors to ensure contractual obligations are met; manage budget and invoicing; supervise and coordinate catering and other services; coordinate practice sessions, manage timing of presenter speeches, update presentation material; arrange transportation and other accommodations for guests.
•Other duties as assigned
•Required to travel approximately 5% of the time.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and/or four to six years inside and outside sales and/or marketing experience. One to three years sales or marketing management experience required. Call center experience a plus.

Entry, Basic, and Mid-level Life Office Management Association (LOMA) courses will be required upon acceptance of position.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
LOMA Level 1 certificate and state life and health insurance license required. Associate, Customer Service (ACS) and Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) preferred.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Internet software; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and other data base software programs. : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software and Cognos reports.

Industry Competencies:
Life Insurance and annuity product experience, insurance sales experience, life insurance agent training

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members, sales force, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several variables.
