Summary of Role:
Royal Neighbors of America is searching for a Member Engagement Program Specialist Responsible for the growth, development, and support of existing and new chapters and new philanthropy programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manages strategic marketing initiatives for internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement in philanthropy programs.
o Partners with Research to identify targeting opportunities within membership.
o Develops and implements targeted promotional campaigns, including data management, creative development, and production.
o Analyze program results and make recommendations for future initiatives.
•Serve as designated back-up for Social Good measurement and reporting processes.
•Serves as the program champion for Royal Neighbors Scholarship program to include process improvements and marketing support.
•Manage incoming requests and payments for philanthropy programs.
•Develops and presents member orientation program to employees, members, and agents to include RN history, chapter system, and member savings.
•Travel is required up to 25%.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelors Degree (B.A., B.S.) and three-five years business development related experience and/or fraternal or other non-profit development expertise as well as some sales and/or marketing experience required. Volunteer leadership experience, preferred.

Entry, Basic, and Mid-level Life Office Management Association (LOMA) courses will be required upon acceptance of position.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
LOMA Level 1 certificate and valid driver’s license with good driving record required. State life insurance license and Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designation preferred.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of internet software; spreadsheet software, word processing software and email; strong Microsoft Office Suite skills; proficiency with Blackbaud grant making system; basic online social technology tools for member engagement.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

Industry Competencies:
Life insurance terminology and product knowledge. Product application knowledge, fraternal sector member engagement regulations.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
