The Operations, Technology and Business Continuity Planning department currently seeks a Financial Services Operations Analyst. The position is ideal for a financial services professional with experience and knowledge covering business practices with a focus on cyber and BCP as well as legal and regulatory issues. The candidate will assist Staff Advisors in addressing and managing business practice and policy initiatives in each of their areas of expertise. Responsibilities will include assisting Staff Advisors’ engagement with regulatory issues, comment letter responses, coordinating industry groups for implementation of pending regulatory changes, and coordinating various industry cyber/operations related projects, committees and working groups.
Requirements Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree from an accredited university – an advanced / legal degree is a plus;

• 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry through employment or consulting;

• The ability to collaborate with executive team members, member firm representatives and other business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of industry initiatives and projects;

• Financial industry cyber, operations and technology knowledge and experience with a knowledge of regulatory rules, current industry legislation and domain expertise;

• Strong project management and performance management skills;

• Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a very dynamic environment, with rapidly changing priorities;

• Ability to manage expectations and build consensus among constituencies with sometimes divergent interests;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to quickly learn, assess and provide creative solutions to complex issues.
