The Software Engineer contributes to the design, coding, maintenance, and testing of web based applications. This role will specialize in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) applications.
• Design, build, test and deploy web-based applications.
• Collaboratively work with the product management department to design how to build new features and functionality.
• Understand business needs and implement solutions to meet or exceed customer needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
• Take ownership of and follow through on all assigned issues in internal tracking system.
• Keep Software Engineering Manager apprised of project status and suggest product improvements. |
| Required Skills |
• Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL and database.
• Knowledge of agile development processes.
•Able to work independently and within a team environment. Willingness to assist team and seek assistance when needed.
•Solid Interpersonal skills and communication skills, especially written.
•Project oriented versus process oriented.
•Great attention to detail and highly organized
•Able to use logical and analytical thinking and able to research and find technical solutions online.
•Able to meet strict deadlines with excellent time management skills

| Preferred Education/Work Experience |
• BS/BA in Computer Science or related science or engineering field
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing web based Java/J2EE applications
• Experience as a full stack developer building web-based applications that interact with large relational databases.
• HTML/HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JSON, AJAX and other web development experience
• Experience with Spring MVC framework, RESTful web services, Maven.
