Description Union Institute & University is conducting a search for qualified affiliate faculty members for the Child & Adolescent Development (CHAD) bachelor degree program to provide on ground instruction at the following locations: Los Angeles (near LAX), Riverside and San Diego. The CHAD major encompasses all aspects of human growth from birth to adolescence. This major is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to working with children and families, preparing students for multiple roles and pathways. The faculty member will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and instruction for the core courses and/or electives while promoting student retention and satisfaction. The instructor is also responsible for assessing student performance and documenting all course-related activities within the parameters established by the college. These are part time positions with no benefits.
Requirements Master's degree or above required in Child Development or related field with 18 graduate credit hours in Early Childhood/Child Development. PhD preferred.
Experience teaching in higher education; online teaching experience preferred.
Computer proficiency required.
