Union Institute & University, a national not for profit university offering Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees to adult students, is seeking Affiliate Faculty members to teach General Education-Composition, Math, and Science (Biology or Environmental Science) courses for its Bachelor of Science degree program. The person selected must be available to teach at the San Luis Obispo, California campus on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights. The address of this site is as follows: Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo Main Office 1030 Southwood Dr. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 Responsibilities: • Teaches 1-2 sections per eight week session in the BS undergraduate program during the months of May-June and July-August, 2018. Courses will be hybrid, i.e., courses will have two hour per week onsite components combined with additional online segments. • Onsite classes will be at the San Luis Obispo, California site listed above from 6:00-8:00 and/or 8:00-10:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights.

Requirements • Earned Master’s degree or higher with credentials in assigned subject area (at least eighteen graduate hours);
• Experience teaching in higher education;
• Excellent computer skills;
• Online/hybrid teaching experience (or at least a willingness to learn online formats) is required.
