Union Institute & University a private, non-profit university offering Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees to adult students, is seeking an experienced and innovative individual to lead the Criminal Justice Management (CJM) undergraduate program. The
successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years of law enforcement experience, having achieved the rank of lieutenant (or its equivalent) or higher. A master’s degree in criminal justice or a related field is required; a doctorate is desired. CJM is
the largest undergraduate program at the university. The CJM program chair will be responsible for helping grow the program through collaboration with enrollment and marketing staff and through delivery of a quality academic experience in the classroom. The
CJM program chair will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, development, and evaluation of faculty in the program, as well as curriculum development. The CJM program chair needs to be able to accommodate the different law enforcement markets and collaborate
with staff at the university’s centers in California, Florida, and Ohio.
