Eastwood Homes is looking for an ENERGETIC - Part-Time Model Home Sales Assistant in the CHARLESTON, SC DIVISION.

The primary responsibility of the New Home Sales Assistant is to support the New Home Specialist in his/her efforts to generate new home sales. This position reports to an assigned New Home Specialist and/or the Sales Manager.

Requirements

The New Home Sales Assistant must:

  • Be able to effectively interact with customers, Real Estate Agents, Company personnel and industry peers;
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of the selling process and participate in sales training as directed by their New Home Specialist.
  • Demonstrate general administrative skill in working with the sales team
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in sales communication, to include, but not limited to telephone skills, preparation of point of purchase literature, brochures and mailed documents.
  • Demonstrate effective use of office equipment.
  • Be capable of managing tight deadlines, promptly addressing changes without disrupting schedules, and managing high volumes of work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Operate and maintain, as directed, the assigned model home(s) within company guidelines.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open and operate assigned sales center(s) during published model home hours.
  • Meet, greet, and qualify walk in traffic and customers in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate to prospective customers features and benefits of products offered.
  • Maintain and update the merchandising and marketing efforts of the model home, sales office, community signage and all speculative and lot inventory as directed by the supervising New Home Specialist.
  • Support New Home Specialist in their efforts in attracting prospecting buyers through fliers, promotional programs and referrals to generate at least one third of their traffic.
  • Foster an ongoing environment of teamwork and collaboration between all Company personnel focusing all actions toward meeting Company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for employees and customers at all times.

Position works a flexible work schedule, averaging less than 28 hours per week to cover the published model hours or company events as requested.
